Who isn't surprised?? I would imagine everyone is shocked, I don't ever recall something like this before?? And to say they will only get five years is utter nonsense. The animal that did that girl and her cousin on her 21st in East Ham got a 16 and this was an attack on a 3 year old. This vermin will get at least 20.

I live in Worcester, there was an EDL march in the city centre that day where the EDL and anti EDL protestors (lots of whom were Asian) clashed. understandable when the racists were walking down the high street chanting "Allah is a paedo" in the middle of the afternoon.
Find it very hard to believe that these are unrelated to that.

We should all be free to insult each other's culture or religion or football team. The onus/responsibility should be on the listener to behave like an adult and manage their butthurt without resorting to violence or squirting 3 year old children with acid. Assuming that is what you are suggesting.

Not trying to explain why it happened but the child attacked was Asian and things like this don't happen in Worcester.
it's a race fuelled attack probably triggered by mob mentality and hatred after the EDL were completely shown up by being hugely outnumbered by anti EDL protestors (most of which were not Asian, but it was the Asian guys that seemed to be trying to fight)
